At MonoContrast, we respect the intellectual property rights of others and expect our users to do the same.

Although we are based in Canada, we voluntarily follow the principles of the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) to respond to valid claims of copyright or intellectual property infringement on our platform.


A. How to Report Intellectual Property Infringement

B. What Happens Next

Once we receive a valid notice, we will promptly:

  • Remove or disable access to the allegedly infringing content.
  • Notify the user who uploaded the material, if applicable.
  • Take further action if there are repeat offenses.

C. How to Submit a Counter-Notice

If you believe your content was removed in error or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice including:

  1. Identification of the material removed or disabled, including its prior location.

  2. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good faith belief the content was removed or disabled by mistake or misidentification.

  3. Your name, address, telephone number, and email address.

  4. A statement that you consent to jurisdiction in your local judicial district and accept service of process from the original complainant.

  5. Your electronic or physical signature.

D. Important Note

Knowingly submitting a false infringement claim or counter-notice may result in legal liability under applicable laws, including Section 512(f) of the DMCA.
